Can You Melt this Puddle of ICE?

Dumb I'm called; I am not dumb.
Free I'm called; I can cost a ton.
I wonder, are you listening?
He sings, he sings,
"Let ____________ ring!"

Melt the ICE,
And you will know essay's ways.
Over the land of the _______
Will be a waving banner for you braves.

"At the company, the most reverence was given to the expectorate."

Best definition:

"prostrate: an organ in the body"

Some People Don't Believe that Shakespeare Wrote Shakespreare's Plays

Thankfully, we have good souls like David B. Hart to ridicule them.

Enjoy!

Lear Quiz by the Numbers

As a student still needs to take this quiz, I couldn't hand them back, but here is a breakdown for you (the score is on focus).

Most students made it into the 20-22 range.

If you were far below that, you'll want to study your first M/C tests more carefully and review the answers.

We had a perfect score and a near perfect score with Jinsol and Nikki; congratulations!

Also, your senior class is 3% ahead of last year's M.C. test takers.

Enjoy,

Mr. S

Perrine's has been one of the most influential literature texts in America since the 1950's.  Originally, these were two books, Sound and Sense (poetry), and Story and Structure (fiction).  Later, these were combined into one book: Structure, Sound, and Sense.  Any edition is fine.  My links will be to the 8th edition.
