The Poets’ Circle Monthly Poetry Reading Series at the Watsonville Public Library, September 19, 2013, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., with poet Joyce Keller and
open mic for emerging voices, which now includes an invitation for
musicians to bring lyrics and songs. Sponsored by the Friends of the
Watsonville Public Library and with a grant from Poets & Writers,
Inc, made possible by the James Irvine Foundation. Come celebrate the
publication of Joyce’s new book of poems, Dreamscape, published by River Sanctuary Press.
About the poet: Retired psychotherapist, and founder of Poet/Speak, Joyce has taught creative writing to seniors through Santa Cruz County Parks and Recreation for over a decade. Her work has appeared in Poet’s West, the Blue Moon Review, So To Speak Journal, La Gazette, and Encore Magazine. Her recently published collection of poems is Dreamscape.
